After dating for a little over a year, Jonn and Emma were engaged on June 16, 2000. The happy couple became a 'family' on January 6, 2001; in a specially orchastrated GGC service (as all of the pastors were involved), followed by a great party, and then an amazing 10 day trip to the big island of Hawaii (c/o Uncle Bob & Aunt Carol).
They lived in the in-law apartment in the Browns' basement for the first two years of their life together (which included Emma's graduation from SFSU). Since January of 2003, they have made their home in Pacifica, ten minutes south of San Francisco, in a nice two bedroom apartment (so come visit!).
